We have the capacity to Test & Tag all Class 1 & Class 2 appliances/equipment. We employ qualified and experienced operators who are assisted by some of our participants, who have mild to moderate intellectual disability. They are also trained, experienced and supervised, their participation enables us to perform the required tasks in a more time efficient manner.
The Occupational Health & Safety Acts (OH&S) throughout Australia demand that the following be tested on all commercial and industrial areas:
Computers & accessories
Office equipment
Kitchen appliances
Portable equipment/appliances
Electrical hand tools
Extension leads
Power boards
Portable safety switches
The OH&S further states that any person on site has a “Duty of Care” under common law and OH&S to ensure that the equipment/appliance is safe, no matter how introduced to the site.
If the equipment /appliance is not safe and causes an accident, both the EMPLOYER AND THE PERSON who provided the equipment /appliance may be liable.
