Based on the Bundoora campus of La Trobe University La Trobe Lifeskills is a government Registered Training Organisation and a leading provider of accredited courses to young people identified as disengaged, at risk or living with a disability. Our courses and pre-apprenticeship programs provide accessible and flexible options for skill building and on-the-job training. Ready2Work Program
Lifeskills focuses on Individual Learning Plans and participants take full advantage of campus facilities. Day Programs Our accredited courses provide the skill training to enable participants to work in our own business enterprises and qualifications recognised nationally by employers and employment services. If a participant chooses to continue with other learning opportunities, Government accredited certificates also provide established pathways to other courses and education providers.
Lifeskills recognises the need to work with young people before they leave school, or to offer places to those who have become disengaged from more formal education. Our program includes transition programs for participants wishing to work for part of the week on accredited courses, Day Programs and/or Ready to Work options whilst still attending school or other alternative programs.
